The Founder's Story
For nineteen years, I had the privilege of serving as "The Diamond Matchmaker" to Hong Kong's most accomplished individuals—a confidential advisor to CEOs, C-suite executives, professors, and industry leaders. That unique role gave me an intimate view of the multifaceted lives they lead, both in the public eye and behind closed doors.
I watched a senior director nearly derail his IPO—not because of strategy, but because he discovered his wife's affair and could not function. I saw HR leaders lose talented managers to burnout, while the real causes were far more complex: political rivalries, senior leaders scheduling late meetings and weekend travel, and in one case, a senior executive who kept her team working endlessly simply because she herself had nowhere else to go.
And I also saw a CEO repair trust with his board by first repairing trust at his dinner table. These are NOT "personal problems." They are business risks that no MBA teaches you to manage.
Social Affinity was built to address what traditional leadership training avoids. Sustainable leadership requires more than analytical prowess; it demands mastery of the human and cultural dynamics that shape our world.
